From today, all farmers with a business ID or groups of farmers can apply to benefit from the National Agricultural Investment Scheme.
Anila Denaj, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, announced the good news through a video shared on her social media and invited all farmers who meet the specified criteria to apply and benefit from this scheme.

“I am pleased to announce today the opening of applications for the National Agricultural Investment Scheme, an initiative of the Albanian Government aimed at developing the modernizing the agricultural sector.
We have allocated a fund of 1.5 billion ALL in the form of a 50% grant for key investments, particularly in the construction of solar greenhouses, the improvement of agricultural machinery, anti-hail nets, the promotion and development of marine aquaculture, and facilities for animal and poultry breeding.
All farmers with a Farmer’s Business ID, trading companies involved in the sector and agricultural union companies are invited to start applying from today.
The program will be open for five weeks to all beneficiaries from north to south, east to west, and we will start intensive direct communication in the 12 districts of the country.
Meanwhile, the Agro Centers are available to provide all the necessary explanations for any questions from the farmers who, I am sure, have been waiting for this National Scheme, as we have been discussing and working together throughout the year.
This national program continues the program of direct subsidies of the first year, thus completing a cycle of financial support that the Albanian government has provided and continues to provide to a very important sector that not only employs a considerable number of workers, but above all is a driving force for the development of your family economy, the entire Albanian economy, and makes us proud today in 80 elite markets.
